We recently represented a gentleman in the Alabama Department of Corrections for property crimes. Due to his priors, he was sentenced to Life/with. We were able to gain his release after serving nearly 20 years but we ran into a problem. The Parole Board wanted our client to go to Life Tech but he had a prior sex offense case from thirty years ago. The Parole Board has reset his hearing for September but in the mean time we worked hard and actually found him a halfway house to go to.
