What Causes Mesothelioma?

In you mesothelium, you can contract a cancer called mesothelioma. It uses the same syntax as hematoma (blood tumor), but in your mesothelium. You mesothelium is a very thin,skin-like membrane that entirely covers your internal organs and cavities.
The main, if not only cause of this kind of cancer is from exposure to asbestos.
“Asbestos fibers that are inhaled through the mouth and nose may eventually become embedded in the lining of the lungs, causing harmful inflammation of the pleura and resulting in mesothelioma or asbestosis (scar tissue formation in the lungs). It has also been found that swallowing asbestos fibers could contribute to a form of the malignancy originating in the abdomen known as peritoneal mesothelioma.”

This kind of mesothelium cancer (mesothelioma) is mainly caused by asbestos exposure in the workplace. However, there are rare cases where naturally-occuring circumstances can potentially cause the disease.  It’s been documented that people in close proximity to you (family, friends, coworkers) that had been exposed on their own, can cause secondhand exposure just like secondhand smoke.
